Hertshals, DK >>> Bergen, NO
Today I write to you from the deck of Fjordline’s ferry en route to Bergen, Norway, the next stop on my scandinavian excursion. The trip is nice, but everything is SUPER expensive. Yesterday I got the rare opportunity to stay in the same house my mother went to when she lived in Denmark some 25 years ago. The experience was incredible. I walked the path she took to University, saw the place she lived, and even went into the school and walked the same halls she did. After staying with and seeing so many Danes, I’ve pretty well established them as one of my favorite peoples in the entire world, if not my absolute favorite. They’re all such kind, beautiful people, and I want to marry a Dane some day. In all honesty, I have no idea where I will be writing to you next from, but I guess that’s what makes this adventure so spectacular: the mystery and chaos of my journey. I would have it no other way.
Skaal!
