    Brandon's Bio:
My major is on the left, but it’s taken me six major changes, two minor changes and three graduate-track changes to get there. I’m from a small farming town west of the Twin Cities and came to Duluth for the city and stayed for the school. I work at the Burns Wellness Center at the front desk and have pretty much the best job in the world. I like to take any opportunity thrown at me, and since coming here I’ve been thrown plenty. Life’s an adventure, and so is CSS!

Feliz ano novo!

Well, I rang in 2013 with a BANG. Among other things, there was a concert held at Brandenburger tor where a bunch of German celebrities performed. One of whom was Loreen, the winner of eurovision (Europe’s American idol) who I’ve sort of been keeping track of since coming to Europe. It was madness! On top of it all, we met up with some of my friend’s friends from Brazil. They were loud, funny and amazing!
After the celebrations begun there was no stopping them. Fireworks were blown off in the streets, rockets were shot from apartments across to other ones, exploding on impact. The same size of fireworks we had just seen in the sky were now also unleashed upon the city by it’s own inhabitants. When I say it felt like walking through a warzone, im not lying… at all. Our group broke up and found eachother time and time again, eventually ending at 7:30 this morning. 2012 was one of the best years of my entire life, so naturally celebrating it’s passing had to be just as fantastic. New Years in Berlin will go down in my life as the best NYE of my life so far.
Prost, Deuchland! Until we mee again.
And as they say in Brazil, Feliz ano novo!
