    Brandon's Bio:
My major is on the left, but it’s taken me six major changes, two minor changes and three graduate-track changes to get there. I’m from a small farming town west of the Twin Cities and came to Duluth for the city and stayed for the school. I work at the Burns Wellness Center at the front desk and have pretty much the best job in the world. I like to take any opportunity thrown at me, and since coming here I’ve been thrown plenty. Life’s an adventure, and so is CSS!

Diego’s Mexican Watering Hole

Before you is the final photograph of me with this house as my ‘home.’ The first week I moved in, one of my friends checked in here on Foursquare, giving it the name ‘Diego’s Mexican Watering Hole.’ Named after the nickname my friends have given me, ‘Diego.’ Which, I’ve really taken to.

As my family drove past my friends’ houses I practically lived at this summer and I took my final steps in the city I’ve grown to love, I felt sad. This summer has been more incredible than I could have ever imagined, and I’ve made some incredible friends and grown as a person overall. Yes, when I left my house key behind this afternoon, it definitely wasn’t an easy task.

From Pride to Casual Monday, from Ke$ha Bash, Improv, Monday night pool, moving trees into the water and beach fires, shamefully donating plasma, creeping on guys bashing our friend group, riding on a crotch rocket for the first time, exploring flood damage, free hotdogs at Superamerica at 2 AM, grilling and hanging out on the porch to my final goodbyes, I can’t even begin to express how much it has all meant to me. I’m generally not the kind of person to get sappy about leaving, and I know that I will be back in 6 months, but you will all be on my mind and I’ll still be secretly jealous of the shenanigans I know I’ll be missing out on!

So here’s to all of you that have made the past 11 weeks in Duluth worth it, and to all of you that will still be here for me when I return: Thank you. Thank you for more than you could ever know.

See you in six!
