Saint’s Sweep the Weekend and Basketball is Back!

Here at St. Scholastica we had a very eventful weekend in Saint’s Athletics. Men’s Hockey skated on home ice on their opening weekend, tallying two big wins to start off their season. The Volleyball team extended their winning streak against Crown college to an all time record of 30-0 against Crown as well as hosting their senior day for the five seniors. The football team chalked up a record setting game as they clinched at least a share of the UMAC Conference Title for the fifth straight season. Seniors were also recognized for the Saints as another class of football players made it thru their final season having won conference championships in four straight seasons of their careers and to complete the sweep against other colleges for the Saints. And finally, my personal favorite which is pictured below, the Men’s Basketball Team saw live scrimmage action to start off their season against Macalester. Good luck to all Saints as they continue action throughout their respective seasons. If you are looking for a great game and atmosphere come on out to the Reif Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. to support your Volleyball team as their conference tournament begins!
