After I complete my undergraduate work here, I hope to be accepted into the PT School as well as graduate with honors. The most important things in my life are friends, family, education, equality, kindness and community, making St. Scholastica and Duluth the perfect fit for me.

Makes Me Want to Take a Backroad

This week is the first all semester that I have really missed being at home. I was raised on dirt roads, lakes, bonfires, and field and streams, so this city living is starting to take its toll on me. The only thing I have to keep me at my birth home is a taste of country music. Country music has the ability to solve anything simply because it has fun songs, sad songs, love songs, breakup songs, fast songs, slow songs, and everything in between. These songs remind me of where I come from and who I am. I love being in Duluth, but sometimes we just need a little release from the real world. Country music is my release from the stresses of finals and a small reminder of the place I am from. It makes me want to take a back road.
