    Brooke's Bio:
I came to Duluth because I love the city, and this small school has a home-like feel. I play volleyball here and have other interests in listening to music, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I like to stay active as much as I can, and I don't think I'll have any problem finding something to do in this amazing city. After graduation, I want to enroll in CSS’ Physician Assistant graduate program.

Working at Home

I became a certified nursing assistant (CNA) last summer because I knew that if I wanted to become a Physician’s Assistant that I would have to have at least 700 hours of direct patient care work.  I worked on-call last summer, but this summer I found a full time job at another assisted living, and I’m getting a lot of those hours.  The work isn’t too difficult, but also not super easy.  It’s good to see what graduate schools and programs are looking for because many of them require sorts of experience that need to be had in your college years.  I’m glad I looked and have gotten on the ball with this whole thing, and I think everyone should be prepared for everything.
