    Brooke's Bio:
I came to Duluth because I love the city, and this small school has a home-like feel. I play volleyball here and have other interests in listening to music, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I like to stay active as much as I can, and I don't think I'll have any problem finding something to do in this amazing city. After graduation, I want to enroll in CSS’ Physician Assistant graduate program.

Weight Room

I think that there are probably a lot of people at CSS that either don’t know we have a weight room in the BWC or choose to not use it.  Most people probably assume that it is for the athletic teams because most of the time there are teams in there doing workouts and different lifts.  Technically, the weight room is open to everyone, but I can definitely understand why some might feel that it is intimidating to go in there.  It’s located on the other side of the Reif Gymnasium on the lower floor of the BWC.  It’s awfully small, which has been a complaint for a really long time, but CSS doesn’t really have funding to increase the size. One nice thing for those who don’t want to go to the weight room is that the cardio area has a lot of different machines that are “lifting-like” machines that can be used in place of going to a weight room.  Overall, it is available for all students, but there are alternate options for those who want to get some lifts in and don’t want to use the weight room.
