    Brooke's Bio:
I came to Duluth because I love the city, and this small school has a home-like feel. I play volleyball here and have other interests in listening to music, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I like to stay active as much as I can, and I don't think I'll have any problem finding something to do in this amazing city. After graduation, I want to enroll in CSS’ Physician Assistant graduate program.

Shop Small Saturday

My family doesn’t go Black Friday shopping anymore, because we don’t believe in being pushed and shoved around through massive crowds of crazy people just to get deals on things we want.  I have only gone Black Friday shopping a handful of times in my life, and the experiences weren’t great.  This year, my family decided to participate in Shop Small Saturday because we feel better about supporting smaller towns and their stores instead of the big corporations.  I come from a fairly small town and used to work at an Ace Hardware, and Shop Small Saturday was always a big deal.  Duluth has a lot of small shops as well, and I’m sure it’s been busy up there the past couple of days as well.
