Credit Fundamentals Presentation

Yesterday, the Savvy Saints brought in a presenter from Members Cooperative Credit Union. The presentation was held in tower 3131 late afternoon. The presenter spoke about budgeting, how to increase credit score, importance of credit score, different loans, and showed us credit reports. I am glad CSS is able to connect with the community. Learning about credit and credit cards is important and the earlier one know about it the better the results. Students at times may consider credit card as income, but with the high interest rates on them, especially those retail credit cards, the price to pay off the debt can be a big financial burden. We hope to have presenters like this one in the near future.
