    I am a senior history major with secondary education social sciences licensure. CSS has given me many awesome friends and adventures that I will cherish forever. Duluth's vibrant culture of music, outdoors and sports have kept me very busy the last three years. My experience at CSS has been rewarding and I am excited for my senior year and the opportunities it will bring.

Tips for perspective edu and history majors

1. Learn to love reading: very few people enter college with a love of reading but it’s a skill that can only be loved when practiced

2. Drink coffee: whether it’s beakers on campus, Sara’s Table below campus, or Fulgers coffee is needed up in the north woods of Duluth where mornings are bitterly cold

3. Lastly perseverance: writing papers and lesson planning can get overwhelming but in the end CSS prepares you we’ll. education is as rewarding a major as there is at CSS. And history develops a world perspective that helps you tackle any situation
