    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

The Final Push

This is my last week of full time student teaching….starting today!  Ahhh crazy.  It feels like only a few days ago that I was just starting out the semester…and now it’s almost over already!  I of course get to start off my week being sick, so I am pretty pumped for that.  There’s nothing better than battling bad behaviors with a horrible cough and chills, right? haha.  But at least other than that, we start out all of our bunny and Easter themed activities and lessons this week, as well as begin talking about jobs that people have in the community.  Next week, the kids are even going to get a chance to dress up as a community helper and come to school.  I haven’t decided which helper I am going to dress as yet, but I would bet that it will be either a baker or maybe a teacher (since I already am one!).

I hope everyone’s Monday is off to a great start and that you are all feeling better than I am!  Make it great, and keep your head up in hopes for spring weather.  It should be in the 30s and 40s all week 🙂
