    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Snow and Strep

Happy Friday to all!  I hope everyone is aware of the wonderful snow and rain mix that is projected to fall in Duluth tomorrow…it should make for some overall messy travel for all of us.  There are also about a billion different sporting events going on this weekend in Duluth and the surrounding area (for high school and college events).   I know that boys high school hockey (Duluth East, of course we are rooting for!) will be facing off in hockey this weekend, as well as UMD.  Also, high school boys division 7A will be grinding through their play-off games at Denfeld High School this weekend and at UMD beginning next week.  Ely is ranked number one, so naturally to see my younger brother kick some major tail, I will be there! 🙂

Also, I had the joy of developing strep from my kinders this week.  Today has been a not so fun day, and I am finally at home resting.  Hopefully, by tomorrow, I will be able to make a somewhat recovery and be back in action for the games and for teaching on Monday.  I hope everyone’s spring break is off to a fantastic start!  Please be safe in all that you decide to do. 🙂
