    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Saturday Fun

Yay for Saturdays!  I am always so grateful when this day comes around and I am able to focus on having fun and de-stressing after such a long week of work.  There are soo many fun things to do tonight to enjoy the weekend, so if you are looking for getting out and letting loose, here are a few options for you!  If you see me there, be sure to say hello please!

Cariboo Magi at Saint Scholastica:
The college is putting on this comedic play beginning at 7:30 tonight in the CSS Theatre.  Admission is $15.00 at the door, but it is sure to be a hilarious and cute show to catch.  Who could resist a random take on the Christmas Story?!

Have you been to Teatro Zuccone for improv on a Saturday night?  It is something to experience.  Some of the funniest shows you will experience in the areas, all done on the spot by two groups competing for points.  A live version of “Whose Line?”!!  It starts at 10:30 pm and admission is $5.00.  Well worth it.

Thirsty Pagan:
Tonight is a special night at this downtown establishment.  There will be a fundraiser until midnight for Willie G (an employee’s son) who has Hodgson’s Lymphoma, with 20% of all of the day’s profits going to help with the costs of caring for him.  Stop in and support a great cause!

Mmmm….dance, dance, dance! Need I say more?
