    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Valentine’s Day is only a month away (as you can tell by walking into any department store already!).  All of the displays are  filled with candy hearts, cards, chocolates, and love-related decor.  Each year it seems like a challenge to come up with the “ultimate” way in which to celebrate the holiday with the one you love.  Make a nice dinner at home?  Go out to a restaurant?  Have a fun date out?  It really and truly depends on the person, and only YOU know what fits them best.  Give it a little thought, and then if you need some ideas, take a glance below 😉

If your girl/guy is:

Crazy and spontaneous:

  • Take dance lessons
  • Attend a comedy event
  • Take a road trip and stop at interesting locations along the drive

  • Plan a picnic in a secluded area (on an island or countryside beach)
  • Take a helicopter ride and sight-see

  • Decorate his/her room and surprise them
  • Play a song for them (whether by a favorite artist or with your very own talents)
  • Take a walk along the beach
  • Go hiking near a waterfall or nearby park

  • Go and explore the city zoo
  • Visit an arcade
  • Cook a meal together
  • Head to an amusement park and go ride crazy
