    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Positivity

This week, I am on the mission to stay positive.  Despite all of the tests, anxiety, and wicked levels of responsibility upon us during this week and next week, it is important to remember that it WILL end and it WILL be worth it when all is said and done.  Staying positive and knowing that you can do it are half the battle.  Especially to all of you graduating this month, you are so close!  Keep up the strength and motivation to persevere.

What follows is inspiration and some reassuring reminders as you make your way through the next week:

Real life is not always going to be perfect or go our way, but the recurring acknowledgment of what is working in our lives can help us not only survive but surmount our difficulties. –Sarah Ban Breathnach

Think positively and masterfully, with confidence and faith, and life becomes more secure, more fraught with action, richer in achievement and experience. –Eddie Rickenbacker

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them. — George Bernard Shaw

A determined person doesn’t find it hard to succeed; they find it hard to stop trying. —Allen Steble

There  is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big  difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it  is positive or negative. –W. Clement Stone
