    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Happy Hump Day: Wednesday Happenings

Hey All-

Hope everyone is having a fantastic spring break so far!  Jealous of all of you out by the beach or sipping a margarita in a pair of shorts right now…no fair!  If you are around the Duluth area today, though (which I know my fellow student teachers are at least! haha), stop by the Romano Gymnasium at UMD tonight to see some amazing basketball playing.  The Wolves from Ely will be taking on Lakeview Christian Academy tonight at 6:00 pm, and it is sure to be a super close and exciting game to see.  My younger brother will be starting, and I cannot wait to see the match up!  It will be a long night, especially after teaching until 3 and going to seminar until 5:30…but I am confident that I will make up the missed work eventually.  It’s just school….right?! haha.

Other happenings….

Today at school we are preparing for jersey day tomorrow….which I still need to track down one of!  Hopefully I manage to scrounge one up by morning.

Also, if you are looking for a night outing, the Rex would be the place to hit tonight in terms of socializing.  Wednesdays are the most hopping night there, and it’s your spring break, so enjoy it!
