Happy Easter to All!
I hope all of you are having a blessed morning so far and are enjoying spending some quality time with your family and friends in the spirit of the holiday. Today we give thanks to Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins and opening up the gates of Heaven so that all of us can join Him one day in His Kingdom. There is truly no words that can describe this act of unfailing love, and we are indebted to Him entirely. I am excited to go to church in a couple of hours to celebrate this selfless act with my family and be together.
After the holy mass, I will unfortunately have to head back to Duluth to prepare for teaching tomorrow instead of sticking around for all of the other fun Easter activities, but I know my family will be having an Easter egg hunt (indoors due to the snow, of course!) and a giant Easter meal of glazed ham, scalloped potatoes, and vegetables. Yum! Maybe if I ask nicely, someone will make me up a to-go plate before I leave so that I can still eat it in Duluth!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter Sunday and is able to celebrate the wonderful passion and resurrection of the Lord with those who mean the very most.
