Excitement for the Weekend?…Could be!
Are you looking for some awesome occurrences to amp up your Saturday? Well look no farther, because Duluth is filled with quite a bit of excellent choices for entertainment today both during the daytime and night. What are these amazing events, might you ask? Well, here is the 411:
Option #1: For all of you hunters, fishers, and outdoors enthusiasts:
Duluth Boat, Sports, and Travel Show!! Where?? At the DECC. They will be showcasing hundreds of boats, fishing and hunting equipment, and housing many different seminars on the outdoor sports throughout the course of the day. As if this wasn’t enough, they will also be hosting Bob Wootton (Johnny Cash’s former guitarist) to entertain viewers. Don’t miss this one. The show runs until 10:00 pm, a great way to lead into the rest of your night.
Option #2: For everyone looking for a much needed laugh:
Tim Harmston and Gus Lynch will be performing a comedy series at Dubh Linn from 6:30-9:00 tonight. Both are known for their unpredictable and quick-witted jokes and one liners, and Lynch has also been featured on television and films throughout the country. Admission is $12.00, but the laughter is priceless.
Option #3: For those looking to get their dance on:
UMD is hosting a dance in the Kirby Ballroom to kick off their featured “Out Cold Week.” The music choices will span across the board, form techno to hip hop to eclectic, with the underlying purpose to be “having some fun”….we are in college, after all. Get out there and shake it starting at 8:00 pm…FREE OF CHARGE.
Don’t like these options? That’s fine, too. Grandma’s Sports Garden, Sir Benedicts, and the like will still be housing their regular Saturday night get-togethers tonight as well. So if that sounds more up your alley, have at it! Happy Saturday 🙂
