    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Best Christmas Movies!!

Aside from a few important writing projects that I need to take care of today (including my resume!), I plan to devote the majority of today to rest, relaxation, and marathon Christmas movie watching.  I can’t think of a better way to spend a lazy day than that.  Plus, to my great fortune, some of my family members have already began the holiday baking and have left batches of delicious chocolate chip cookies lying around for me to munch on!  So, with a cookie in one hand in the remote in the other, here will be the Christmas movie line-up (descending in order from my very favorite):

  1. Christmas Vacation
  2. Elf
  3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey version)
  4. A Christmas Story
  5. Santa Claus is Coming to Town
  6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Dr. Seuss)
  7. Rudolph
  8. Charlie Brown Christmas
  9. Home Alone
  10. Home Alone 2
  11. Home Alone 3
  12. Christmas with the Kranks
  13. The Santa Claus
  14. The Santa Claus 2
  15. Jingle All the Way
  16. It’s a Wonderful Life

I think this list will more than suffice for the day.  It may actually end up lasting me through the week, but I have no complaints with that!  Saving the Christmas spirit and making it last all the way through the holiday season 🙂
