    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Benefit to Support Pam Bauman

Hey all!  For those of you who are familiar with the college and the professors, there is a good chance that you know who John Bauman is.  He is one of the heads of the Education Department here at Scholastica, and does a phenomenal job guiding and supporting students as they pursue their degrees every year.  Recently, John learned that his wife has a form of terminal cancer.  Now, he needs that same help and support that he is so used to giving to others given back to him!

Today (Sunday March 3rd), hundreds of volunteers, friends, and family of the Bauman family will be hosting a benefit for Pam’s cause at Clyde Iron Works in West Duluth.  There will be lots to do, plenty of wonderful people to socialize with, and lots of delicious baked goods and food to munch on.  Tickets are $15.00, but all proceeds go to Pam’s cause and to help the Baumans with the financial burdens of this difficult time.  Your presence and support would mean the world to Pam, John, and their family.  So please, if you have some spare time today or just want to get out, stop over at Clyde between 3-6 pm and give your support.

Keep their family in your prayers!  I hope all of you are having a fabulous weekend and that the start of the week goes smoothly for you tomorrow!
