    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

As We Begin Thinking About Graduation…

It’s so strange to think that in only less than 4 more months, another graduating class will be walking the stage to get their diplomas and their degrees here at the college.  And this time, I am part of the group of students!  Crazy.  I know that myself, and many of my peers and other students who are fast approaching the work force, have begun to think about nailing that first interview and how to be as dynamic as possible to impress their future employer.  Well, I have some interesting tips for you!  As you know, I am an avid pinterest lover (I search it for teaching ideas all of the time, and it is almost my lifeline!).  If you haven’t been on there before, I highly encourage you to check it out, although you may be hooked. 🙂  Anyways,  Iwas searching on there the other day and came across a very interesting article from Woman’s Health about how your choice of clothing can in fact influence the impression you make during your interview.  I had never even thought of this before, but it seems very logical and interesting.

Read on if you are hoping to nail that first impression!
