    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

4 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS!

The holiday season is closing in fast and there is still so much to be done!  I just finally started doing my Christmas wrapping….(and shopping, for that matter) today!  Now that class is over and break has officially begun (at least for me), it is time to think about preparations!  Here is my “Holiday Must-Do” List to complete before Christmas.  It may help you to remember a couple of things you have to complete still, too, before the festivities!

  1. Finish buying holiday gifts.  This will probably keep me busy all the way up until Christmas!
  2. Wrap each gift.
  3. Decorate and light the Christmas tree.
  4. Make cookies!
  5. Pull out Charlie Brown Christmas, Christmas Vacation, and Christmas Story from storage.  These are holiday MUSTS
  6. Buy a roll of Tollhouse cookie dough.  To eat plain, not to bake!
  7. Make “reindeer food” for my little brother to put out when Santa comes.  This is an awesome idea for little kids in addition to setting out cookies!
  8. Start listening to Christmas music…haven’t quite gotten to this yet…
  9. Go for a holiday ice skate with the siblings.
  10. Play Simpsons Road Rage to drive the special Christmas car…haha that’s right I said it.
  11. Hit ALL the holiday parties and load up on free food and drinks.

WAHOOOOO! Let it commence!!
