    Ari's Bio:
    I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I came to the U.S when I was adopted at the age of six months, and have remained here ever since. A key characteristic in my personality is my love of being social. I am extremely outgoing and energetic and I love to stay active. One of my more expensive, but definitely most enjoyable, hobbies is traveling. I believe everything happens for a reason and a quote by Henry David Thoreau says it best: Never look back unless you are planning to go that way. Live Large And Love Life.

Annual Convocation

Today was St. Scholastica’s annual convocation. This is a ceremony in which all of the freshman are required to attend and all students are encouraged to attend also. They welcome all of the freshman to college and ceremoniously pray over the students and the journey that they will embark on for the next 4 years. After the freshman have their class picture taken and enjoy a free snack after all is done. This is a ceremony unique to Scholastica and one that dates back to the beginning of the college! Welcome freshman to the CSS community!
