    Alex's Bio:
Hi, I am a junior here at St. Scholastica studying Biology. I just returned from studying abroad in New Zealand. I have loved living in Duluth and attending St. Scholastica so far. After St. Scholastica I hope to go to graduate school for environmental science. When I’m not studying you can find me hanging out with my friends around campus, working at Storm’s, or anywhere outside. I try to go up the North Shore and hike around Lake Superior when I have free time.

Travel Opportunities

image

One of the most surprising opportunities coming to St. Scholastica has brought is the opportunity to travel. Through St. Scholastica and trips professors have brought to my attention I have gone on a conservation trip in the Grand Tetons Mountains, a volunteer trip in Guatemala, and studied abroad in New Zealand. These trips have gave me lifelong friends and have been a huge benefit of going to school here. I also have good friends who have studied abroad in Ecuador and Ireland and many that have gone on volunteer trips to countries like Peru, the Phillipeans, and Costa Rica. The College provides so many opportunities if you are willing to travel!
