    Alex's Bio:
Hi, I am a junior here at St. Scholastica studying Biology. I just returned from studying abroad in New Zealand. I have loved living in Duluth and attending St. Scholastica so far. After St. Scholastica I hope to go to graduate school for environmental science. When I’m not studying you can find me hanging out with my friends around campus, working at Storm’s, or anywhere outside. I try to go up the North Shore and hike around Lake Superior when I have free time.

End of my Semester Abroad

The past few months have been such a great experience. I have been able to see so much of New Zealand, both the North and the South Island. I’ve been able to work with the Department of Conservation and the Wellington City Council. Being apart of the HECUA New Zealand study abroad semester has been a great experience I would recommend to anyone interested in sustainability, conservation, or just a great new cultural experience. I just got home this past week and am looking forward to relaxing and spending time with family and friends before I begin my last semester.
