Weather Blues

I know that we live in Duluth, MN, but this weather has got to stop! I am so sick of the cold and the wind that we have had lately. I think it’s crazy how much the weather can affect one’s mood, like it has with mine today. It’s frustrating because a week before spring break we had a gorgeous, 60 degree day, and now it’s back in the thirties and I just had to trek through snow to get back to my apartment from studying in Storms Den. I know I shouldn’t complain, but I think at this point in the semester, I need to before I can pull myself together and get back at it again. There is a lot to get done before finals, and then there are finals to take. It seems impossible right now, but I really need to remember that tomorrow is a new day, and a chance to have a new attitude. I think my day started off on the wrong foot because I am just ready for summer and warm weather because it makes me so much more productive and happier. But, I do live in Duluth after all, and I have warned myself many times that this always happens, but I still have that hope. Tomorrow is going to have to be a major homework day because today was not very productive and I didn’t get the chance to work ahead. That’s okay, though. It happens. I am determined to wake up in a better mood tomorrow, and start working really hard to get a good chunk of my projects done. Wish me luck!
