The Votes are In

Well, we had our banquet, we had our laughs, we are our food, and we chose our new captains. It is actually kind of nerve wracking to make a speech to others why you think you could run the team. But, I did it and I was voted captain!! Words cannot describe how excited and honored I am. I have so many ideas for next season I am ready to start tomorrow! But, things from this year need to calm down first, and then my co-captain and I can start planning for the upcoming school year. I honestly can’t believe I actually am going to be the leader of my favorite team in the world. It’s such a commitment, but I feel like I can handle it, and it’s going to be great! Nothing compares to being a part of some time of team/club/organization. When you’re around people who have the same likes and passions as you, you can’t help but feel you’re exactly where you belong. That is how I feel about the dance team, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
