The Pains of Packing

Over the year, I have accumulated a lot more stuff than I came here with, and I came with¬†a lot of stuff. I had to accumulate dishes, linens, decorations, towels, and everything else one needs to live. Now, I have to pack everything up and get it out of my apartment by Friday. Unfortunately, I have a lot to do before then with school and work this week. I went home to visit my mom for Mother’s Day yesterday, and I brought a load of clothes and other miscellaneous things that I won’t need this week. It’s a little bittersweet to pack up all of my stuff because this will be the last time I live on campus, and the last time I will live with my current roommates. I have lived with one of my roommates since my freshman year, so I will definitely miss her, but we will still hang out together and see each other, it just won’t be the same anymore! I am excited to be done with on-campus housing, two years has been long enough, but not excited that I will have to move twice in less than a month because my lease doesn’t start until June 1st. That’s okay, though, I just can’t believe I am almost finished! One more final and then I can pack and am home free!!
