    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Start of Summer Vacation (That’s spent working 45+ hours)

Well, like most college students, I have just finished a full week (and a day) working full-time. I still have my job at the dance studio and need to teach classes, so that means I am working 45-50 hours a week depending on the class schedule and number of days I teach. Working a lot is nice because I would be bored if I didn’t have something to do with my days. Unfortunately, there is a lot of traffic in Duluth, so I need to leave my house in Esko by 7:10 at the latest to make it to Scholastica with enough time to get logged in and settled. Right now my job consists of training new employees, and working on a few data clean up lists. I’ve also been trained in on the Front Desk and can answer the phone, schedule visits, and answer most questions. Starting June 1st we will begin to have regular tours, and I am also getting trained as a campus rep. So far, I’ve been really liking my job, and am glad that I get some face-to-face interaction by working at the main desk and as a tour guide. I’ve got another long day tomorrow, so I’ve got to pack my lunch and prepare to do it all over again!
