    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Planning a Fundraiser

Being a captain of the Dance Team has been crazy busy, and our season hasn’t even started yet! We don’t have coach, just a supervisor that we work with on occasion to okay our performances, and help keep track of our costumes, budget, etc. The rest is up to the captains. The rest being, planning fundraisers, choreographing dances, editing music, reserving studio, conducting practice, organizing community events, the list goes on. Right now, we are trying to plan a fundraiser for next Tuesday at Skyline Lanes in Duluth. We are trying our best to get the word out, and distribute tickets to all the team members, but since we aren’t on an active season, it is hard to get everyone in the same place at the same time. The tickets cost $10 each and are good for shoes, and all-you-can-bowl from 9PM-Midnight, it’s a great deal! I am looking forward to Tabling in the Student Union tomorrow and hopefully accruing some interest from people passing by. It is a lot of work running a team, but it is work that I signed up for and am more than willing to do! Only 5.5 more weeks left of the school year, so I can’t start slowing down now!
