    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Moving up in the world

I am SO excited to say that my roommates and I were all approved to rent the house that we applied for!! Not only were we approved, but we don’t even need a parent signature or cosigner… we are doing this ALL on our own!! I can’t believe that we found out already being that we only applied on Monday and were told that we were approved yesterday. Maybe the fact that I am saying this makes me less of one, but talk about being an adult. 🙂 I am so excited to finally have my own place away from campus. I have enjoyed my two years on campus, but after these next two semesters, I will be ready to be done. Not that they do anything wrong, but I am excited to not have an RA anymore, no more mandated quiet hours, to have a yard to take care of, a porch to decorate with Christmas lights, and just more responsibilities in general. I would not have been ready to do this two years ago, which makes me thankful that I eased my way into moving out of my house by choosing campus. Now, I will have a completely new home. I don’t see any more going home for weekends other than for the holidays especially because my family is so close! I can’t wait to make it my own and decorate it how I want! But, that’s still six months away, so for now, I need to rein in my excitement and get my stuff together to make it through this week and the next few ones because it’s pretty much finals right now… yikes.
