    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Last Day of Work

Today is the last day that the campus offices are open for the holiday, and I am just finishing up my contracted hours for the pay period. The new president, Dr. Geary, has given all of the staff paid time off between now and January 2nd. Normally, they would have to come in and work between Christmas and New Years, but not this year. I think this is nice of the president’s staff, and even though I personally don’t get paid time off, I do think that my supervisors work hard enough and deserve it. The only bummer is that I’m not allowed to come in and work between Christmas and New Years. I plan on staying in Duluth, so I will be around and would liked to have worked a little. That’s okay, though, because it will just force me to take some time off. I don’t know how long I will stay at home, but since it’s only 30 minutes away, I have a feeling I will be returning to my own house shortly after Christmas. I also hope to see Bentleyville either tonight or tomorrow. The lights are absolutely beautiful and get me in the Christmas spirit! I am really looking forward to having some time off and spending time with my family and friends from my hometown!
