Is it Wednesday Yet?

I absolutely cannot believe how fast Thanksgiving has creeped up on me! It seems like yesterday it was just Halloween! I am so happy that this is a short week and I get to go home TOMORROW night to finally see my family and sleep in my comfy, big bed! This week is a short week and it’s a good thing because I am so burnt out I probably wouldn’t be able to make it through a whole one. Just kidding. I could because I wouldn’t have any other choice, but I am really glad I don’t have to! This year I am spending Thanksgiving with my dad and step mom, something I have not done in many years. I am splitting my short break between my parents; this way I will get to see and spend time with them both. A huge home-cooked Thanksgiving meal is in store for me this week which is awesome because food is awesome. And pie, I cannot wait to have some pie! With my family it’s not just about food, though. We all take the time to say what we are thankful for, and we be sure to do this on the days that aren’t Thanksgiving as well. Good times with family and friends is what’s in store for me on this long break. Plus homework; there is always homework to be done.  I also should warn my mom and make sure she is prepared for over two weeks worth of laundry because that’s what I’m taking home with me…oops!
