    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Going Back Home for a Month

Having to pack for an entire month has proven to be quite difficult– I have WAY too much stuff. Especially because this time, I have to pack more than just my clothes and bathroom stuff. I have some food that I need to bring home because it will spoil otherwise and I do not want to just throw it away, plus I did a lot of Christmas shopping, so I need to find room for all of the gifts that I bought for my family and friends. I decided I wanted to just drive home tonight after I finish work at 9:00. So, I have been packing and loading my car for the past hour and a half. I lost count of the amount of trips I’ve done. This only makes me worry about when I am actually going to have to move ALL of my stuff out. I have accumulated so many dishes and miscellaneous things, it will probably take me a whole week to get it all out! I certainly am excited to finally sleep in my nice queen size bed and down comforter, though. I will probably have to unpack everything when I get home because I have used up every duffel bag and laundry basket I have to haul all my stuff home. I know that I won’t even wear all the clothes I brought, but I never know what occasion I will need to be dressed for! Better safe than sorry, right?! I can’t believe that I am finished with my semester, and I have been for a while! Time seriously flies at college, and my family tells me that it only gets quicker from here. I have really enjoyed the three semesters I have spent at CSS so far. No place is perfect, but this place was the very best fit for me, and I am still glad to this day that I chose it! The professors that I have had so far have all taken the time to learn names, develop relationships, and have made themselves available to help us in any way. I am thankful to them for that, but I am also very glad to get a months break from this place because a lot of stress does come with it!
