Germs… Everywhere!

Walking around campus today, it seemed like everyone has the sniffles. It seems to be that time of year again! I have known several people who have contracted the flu or some type of cold already. Luckily neither me nor my roommates have gotten anything worse than a cough here and there or a runny nose. Both of which I have right now, but I am hoping to tackle them before it gets any worse! Being sick makes everyday activities like breathing such a hard task. I work at a daycare back home, so I know all the tricks to preventing sickness. It’s washing your hands!!! Washing your hands several times throughout the day and especially after using the bathroom and before and after eating meals is the best thing you can do to remain healthy. I also take Zinc and drink a lot of echinacea tea with honey. Hopefully I can go through the rest of the school year without getting sick! Fingers crossed!
