I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Feelings of the 1st Day

The night before the first day of school is always one filled with excitement, energy, anticipation, and anxiety. I have felt these emotions ever since the night before my first day of pre-school to now, my sophomore year in college. I spent most of the day relaxing and watching Netflix. I walked over to Tower with my roommates so we could see where our classrooms were located (always a good idea to refresh the mind what the place looks like), and I also checked my mail box which had a package waiting for me with new leggings inside, yay! I cooked some dinner, got my school supplies together, packed a lunch, and then bought some wall decor for my bedroom from Shutterfly. My day sounds very calm and collected, but really I am sort of nervous. I have a feeling that my classes are going to be tough and I already feel like I’m drowning. Ridiculous, right? I haven’t even stepped foot into a classroom so how can I already be stressed? Probably because I am worried I won’t have time for everything I want/need to do with Dance Team, work, homework, cooking, cleaning, plus keeping up with my friends and having a fun year. I’m sure all I need to do is get back into a routine and it will become the new normal! But, I do work at 8 am tomorrow, so I’m off to a restless night of sleep and away we all go tomorrow!
