Feast Day!

Today we are celebrating Feast Day in honor of St. Scholastica! This morning we had free donuts, and GDR is packed with good food and lots of people too! There is an Italian Feast going on and everybody eats free. My Dignitas professor was nice enough to let us go down there as a class and eat together. That was round 2 for me! Throughout the day there are several events. Later some of Mother Scholastica Kerst’s artifacts will be on display for everyone to look at and learn about. Even though I am not Catholic, it is interesting to learn about the history of Catholic tradition! Feast Day is about community, fellowship, and meals, but it is also about learning about certain Saints and their life contributions. It really is quite interesting!
