Fat Tire Biking on the Trails

A couple weeks ago the Marketing Department asked me and one of my coworkers in the Admissions Office to do a photo shoot.  I was so excited and dressed up, only to discover that we were going Fat Tire Biking on the back trails of campus… oops! Luckily, I had my gym clothes and tennis shoes available, so I did a quick change and was ready to go. It was so much fun to ride the bikes, but definitely a different experience from regular or even mountain biking. Outdoor Pursuit, the adventure zone, has fat tire bikes for people to rent at a pretty low cost. If this is something you’re interested in, I definitely would recommend you to try it out, especially in the snow! This picture is when we finally got to stand around and take a break from riding back and forth. This was taken just behind Tower Hall on the trails back there. It is so neat and a lot of beautiful scenery! What a great place to attend school for four years (or three in my case)!
