I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Down in the Dumps

I have managed to successfully go through my college career thus far without getting extremely sick beyond a small head cold or something like that. Over the weekend I wasn’t feeling 100%, but nothing too terrible. Today, I woke up with a swollen throat, bad cough, stuffy nose, and no voice. Trying to get through a long day and only wanting to curl up in bed is incredibly difficult. I refuse to miss class because it is so difficult to try and make up assignments and get notes. Especially because most of my classes require group work and/or conversation, so it really is hard to make up¬†participation credit. Luckily, I have a lot of tea, and I will be making a trip to Student Health Services the second I get a chance. I know a lot of people don’t remember to utilize this resource, and I myself have never been there, so I hope they have something that can make me feel better. Otherwise, this might be a miserable week, so fingers crossed it isn’t!
