I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Christmas Shopping

I am not one to do Black Friday shopping, but I am one to Christmas shop. However, I won’t go on Thanksgiving because I always end up feeling terrible for the retail workers that have to leave their families in order to go to work. So, I decided that I will shop tomorrow morning. I have no idea how people wake up at 4 am in order to storm a store, that’s just not something I would typically do. Even still, I have a feeling that Target and the mall will be packed with people. I am making a list of the things I want to buy right now so then I am not in anybody’s way standing around. I have no idea what to expect, this is not something that I have ever done before, so I hope it goes alright!

So far I have been loving my long weekend. I got to catch up with my best friend from high school, see my nieces and nephews, and also my grandparents. I have some assignments that I need to do, and they haven’t been started yet, but I will probably do them sometime tomorrow. I love how I kind of get special treatment when I come home. I never realize how much I miss my family and they miss me until I actually do. Moving out has been one of the most rewarding and liberating experiences, but I still love to go back sometimes 🙂
