Beautiful Fall Day at Fitgers

My very first friend that I made at CSS transferred to a different school, but her and her fiancĂ© came up to Duluth to visit the CSS Crew. I was so excited to have them, and it was an amazing weekend. Saturday we went to the mall, and did some homework and then at night, we all wanted to go out to dinner. She wanted Mexican food, so we figured we’d try Mexico Lindo. We got there, and the host said it would be about an hour and a half wait, at 7:30 PM! We didn’t want to wait that long, so then we decided to try Little Angie’s in canal. That was the same wait, but Green Mill  could get us seated right away, so we went there. I had a breaded chicken entree that was delicious! Even so, I felt bad she didn’t get any Mexican food, so we all decided to go out for lunch and try it again. We luckily got seated right away even though there was 8 of us. Mexico Lindo is on Superior Street in the Fitgers complex. Fitgers is absolutely amazing it has shops, restaurants, bars, and boutiques. Just a few buildings up is the Portland Malt Shoppe, and down the road is downtown Duluth. The boardwalk is just below Fitgers, too. It was an absolute beautiful day. Boats were on the water, people were walking about, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. My friend said that she forgot how amazing Duluth was, and she missed it a lot. We told her to come back soon when it was time for them to go. We had a great weekend together, but now it’s time to buckle down and get back in gear. Good thing we actually did do homework yesterday, though!
