All-School Barbecue

One way to get a lot of students in the same place is to offer a free meal. Today we had an all school barbecue in GDR. The day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous and the smell of the grill outside definitely brought back memories of summer. They served cole slaw, brats, hamburgers, chips, watermelon, corn bread, and some bean mixture. I tried everything except the bean mix because it just didn’t look right… LOL! We also got root beer floats from CAB which was the perfect treat to a delicious (and we can’t forget free) meal! It reminded me of freshman year heading down to GDR with a group of girls. I ate with my roommate and two of our friends and saw a lot of other non-freshman there too. It’s always nice when we get things like this, and I can’t wait until the next event!
