    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

A Different Kind of Friday Night

Well, it sure looks like everyone had fun at the Johnny Holm band dance last night, but unfortunately I spent the night attempting to do homework in the car on my way to Fargo, ND. It was a about a four and a half hour drive that I made with my roommate as we are both in our friend Payton’s wedding. Payton goes to NDSU this year, but went to CSS last year, and I met her on the dance team, she was also my (then and now) roommate’s best friend since sixth grade, so it worked out that we all became friends. We will spend the weekend dress shopping and then on Sunday we have her bridal shower. Then, we will have to make the four and a half hour drive back to Duluth late Sunday night, and be ready to go again Monday morning. I felt like I really missed out on a lot of events this weekend, and I am swamped with homework and final projects, but I am so happy to be a part of such a special weekend, and so thankful to CSS for bringing Payton and I together. You never know where you’ll meet your best friends! It was a bummer that she transferred, but sometimes you just find a better fit and that’s okay. I, however, can’t imagine myself in any other college than CSS and I can’t wait to get back there and sleep in my own apartment. For now, though, I’m going to enjoy my weekend and I will hopefully still be able to get some homework done!
