I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

4 items… $37 later

So, I went to Walmart after work with four things on my list… I walked out $37 later with 17 items in my cart. I know that $37 really isn’t all that much, but I really didn’t need to buy half the things I did. The problem was that I was hungry, so everything looked good. Seriously, it’s not a myth: if you go grocery shopping hungry, you end up buying more food.

I had just finished a 4 hour shift teaching dance at Elite, so I had been moving a lot. Elite is right next to Walmart and I just swung in there to get milk, cheese, bread, and cranberry juice. I walked out with things like banana bread, yogurt, asparagus, and cookies. Although everything I got I will eat, I was hoping to wait until payday to buy more food, but that’s okay! I got some goodies and I’ll hopefully be set for at least a week and a half… But probably not…
