Pros and Cons of Bunk Beds

This school year I have experienced two beds, one that was on the floor and one that was bunked. Currently I am on the top of the bunk bed and throughout the year I have found many pros and cons to it; let’s start with pros. First bunk beds save a LOT of space in the room, making the room much more functional. Second, climbing up and down is like a mini workout in the morning; plus it kind of stretches your feet! Now I shall share the cons of the bunk bed. First con, if youre on the top you have to climb up and down; it’s a pro and a con. Second, it can be very difficult to make your bed after washing your sheets (I seriously broke a sweat today making my bed). Third, if your bunk mate moves around a lot in their sleep, you might be able to feel it if you’re a light sleeper. While yes there is one more con than there is pro, I personally think that saving space counts as two, so the pros and cons are even in my mind. Ultimately it is up to you, your personal preferences, and what your roommate wants also; but no matter what you choose, all of the beds are comfortable!
