Personal Training!

This week I started a personal training program that is run by one of the senior Exercise Physiology students here at Saint Scholastica. I originally sought out this program because I want to be healthier, fit, and find a plan that I can stick too even after the semester is over. I contacted the CSS WellU program on campus and they pointed my in the direction of a senior in the Exercise Physiology program name Allissah! The program is specially created to fit the capabilities my body already has, build on them, and to meet the goals I have for myself. This program is very important to me because it helps me be a better “me,” but it also is done by an Exercise Physiology major which is what I am also doing; and I think that is really cool! On Thursday the 9th I had a walk through of my program which included Allissah and I going over the plan she had designed for me. Today, Friday the 10th, I did the first day of my program with consists of cardio and arms. On Mondays my workout is cardio and legs, Wednesday is cardio and abs, and then Friday! On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays I participate in a yoga sculpt class. I set up my workouts this way on purpose, so that I would be working out 6 out of 7 days of the week, with the 7th day (Saturday) as my rest day. It might sound crazy but just starting this program today and changing my eating habits a little, I already feel a change in my body and I love it!
