CSS and Election Day

Election Day has come and gone. I am not going to talk about my political views, but I am going to talk about how Saint Scholastica made it easy for students to participate on that day. I am 18 years old so this year was my first election! I had to go through the registration process to become an official voter in the state of Minnesota. In early October Saint Scholastica set up computers in designated areas where students could register to vote! It was simple, easy, and very convenient! While being able to register online is awesome, many students are still without laptops during the day, so being able to stop at one of these areas was awesome! Then November 8th came around and Saint Scholastica did something awesome again: the Dean of Students, was shuttling students in a 15 person van, to the voting poll! Any student that didn’t have a car on campus (like myself) or didn’t have a ride, or that simply just wanted a free ride, could get one! I was honestly very worried about being able to vote because I didn’t know how I would get there; but Scholastica made it easy for me to take action in the election and be apart of the big percentage that makes up the voting population. I am so incredibly thankful to Saint Scholastica and the poll site for all of their hard work!

Thank you!
