    Tianna's Bio:
I'm a nursing intended major, biology/psychology minor and a part of the Honors program. In addition to school, I also work at McCarthy Manor as a CNA. In my "freetime" I like to explore Duluth, hang out with the girls, color, go to concerts, fish, hunt, enjoy the great outdoors, and spend time with my family and my boyfriend. I love Scholastica and Duluth and can't wait to spend the next couple of years here.

Shake It!

Last week I was introduced to this wonderful thing called…ZUMBA! For those of you who aren’t familiar, zumba is a latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance workout. Yes, I know, zumba has been around but I must say, it’s never to late to start. I went for the first time this last week and I absolutely love it. Granted I couldn’t walk very well the first day, but it’s an amazing workout. Not only does it get you moving, but it is fun! So for those of you, like myself, that really can’t find the motivation to make it to the gym, because it’s just not something that sounds entertaining to you, I recommend a couple rounds of zumba. It only took one try for me and now I’m hooked. The best part, the wellness center on campus offers two Zumba sections a week along with many other fitness classes. Research has shown that exercise reduces stress so hey…get out and SHAKE IT!
