My name is Tayler and I was an English major/biology minor at the College of St. Scholastica! I have lived in Duluth all of my life so I know all the best local restaurants and hiking trails. On campus, I was involved with The Cable, Bella Voce, the Northstar Reports, the McNair Scholars Program, Student Support Services, and the English & Arts Club. Off campus, I volunteered with Mentor Duluth and enjoy throwing theme parties with friends and family.

Leadership Award Finalist

I am super excited to be 1 of the 16 seniors nominated for the St. Scholastica Student Leadership Award! Myself, Emily Zimmer, Corey Bardon, and Diana Mena are finalists for the award. The award is for students on campus who act as leaders in their group clubs, programs, and on campus in general. My participation as the President of the Honors Student Association, President of the English & Arts Club, Business and Advertising Manager for the Cable, member of Bella Voce, writer for The North Star Reports, McNair Scholar, and volunteer in Student Support Services are what earned me the chance to be nominated. Graduating seniors get to vote to decide the winner of the award by casting an online ballot on Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25. So, if you’ve ever loved something I have done with these groups or even if you just like my blog, I would appreciate it if you’d cast your ballot for me 🙂
