    Tayler's Bio:
My name is Tayler and I was an English major/biology minor at the College of St. Scholastica! I have lived in Duluth all of my life so I know all the best local restaurants and hiking trails. On campus, I was involved with The Cable, Bella Voce, the Northstar Reports, the McNair Scholars Program, Student Support Services, and the English & Arts Club. Off campus, I volunteered with Mentor Duluth and enjoy throwing theme parties with friends and family.

Climbing Mount Everest

Okay, so my title is a little misleading. Outdoor Pursuit is hostin a rock climbing competition during the month of February. Come climb as much as you can, as often as you can. Each time you climb, your belayer marks down how many feet you climbed for the day. Each checkpoint is the height of famous mountains all the way up to Mt. Everest (a total of 700 climbs!). At each check point you are entered for prizes and whoever takes first place wins a free kayaking trip with Outdoor Pursuit in the Apostle Islands. I am super pumped about this competition and have six climbs under my belt so far. While I don’t think I will go for 700, I am excited to keep track of my climbs and see how many mountains I climbed at the end of the competition!
